Much of the world’s coffee is grown by small scale farmers living in relatively poor countries and the farmers themselves rarely see much of the profit that others are making from their crops.  More enlightened coffee consumers are looking for ways to bypass the glut of middlemen that make up the coffee industry and buy a better quality cup for themselves directly from the growers.  We can help you with that.

Forest River Coffee buys premium beans directly from individual small scale coffee farmers, brings the beans back to Canada, roasts them, and sells them to you.  This process, while less efficient than buying in bulk, helps assure that the farmer is getting a better price, and establishes a personal connection between you the coffee drinker, and the farmer who grows that coffee.
